We offer a wide range of advanced ECU and TCU software solutions tailored to the specific vehicle, platform, and customer requirements. Our ECU and software solutions cover a wide range of petrol and diesel vehicles including BMW, VAG, Mercedes-Benz, Ford and many more.
Engine and emissions-related solutions include AdBlue (SCR) solutions, DPF solutions, EGR solutions, GPF and OPF solutions, swirl flap solutions, SAP (secondary air pump) delete, O2 sensor solutions, MAF removal and scaling, and MAP sensor scaling. These solutions are developed for specific use cases and applications, and responsibility for legal compliance remains with the vehicle owner.
Performance and driving enhancements include pops and bangs (customisable), launch control, VMax (speed limiter) adjustment or removal, soft rev limiter adjustments, diesel popcorn limiter, cylinder on demand adjustments, and sports display calibration for BMW models.
Functional and fault-based solutions include DTC (fault code) removal, cold start delete, hot start fix, start/stop disable, exhaust flap delete or reprogramming, and CVN correction where applicable.
ECU and security-related services include immobiliser (immo) solutions, ECU cloning, bench unlocking and programming, and a postal bench service for customers who are not local.
Transmission solutions include gearbox calibration for platforms such as ZF, CVT and DSG, shift strategy optimisation, and torque limit adjustments.
Every vehicle is assessed individually and we do not apply one-size-fits-all files. Depending on the ECU platform, work may be carried out via OBD, bench, or boot mode to ensure the safest and most accurate approach.

Mail-In Calibration Service
Our mail-in calibration service allows you to access Helix Performance Solutions’ full range of ECU and TCU services without needing to visit us in person.
This service is ideal for vehicles that require bench or boot mode access, including newer ECUs such as MD1 and MG1, or for customers located outside of our mobile service area.
The process is straightforward. You remove the ECU from the vehicle and send it to us using a secure, tracked courier. Once received, we carry out a full inspection and perform a complete read of the ECU using bench or boot methods where required. This ensures we are working from the correct file and allows us to take a full backup before any modifications are made.
Your calibration is then developed specifically for your vehicle and requirements. Once completed, the ECU is written, tested, and prepared for return shipping.
Turnaround time is typically fast, and all units are returned via secure, tracked delivery.
This method allows for the highest level of access and is often the safest and most reliable way to carry out work on modern ECUs, particularly where OBD access is limited or unavailable.
Helix Performance Solutions provides software calibration only. Any mechanical work, including ECU removal and refitting, must be carried out by the customer or a qualified technician.
